How is the visit going?

After the doctor has prescribed a course of injections or IVs and issued a referral, the patient must come to the treatment room with the necessary documents. -
If necessary, you can pre-register for a convenient time. You can bring your own medications or pay separately directly at the clinic. -
All manipulations are carried out in compliance with the rules of asepsis and antisepsis, the patient’s condition is constantly monitored by medical personnel.
Technique
Infusion therapy is carried out in several stages:
The patient lies on a functional bed or in a chair and extends his arm.
he nurse prepares the disposable infusion set and medication ordered by the physician.
The arm above the elbow is tied with a tourniquet to isolate the veins.
The elbow bend is treated with an antiseptic.
A needle or catheter is inserted into the vein.
On the infusion system, select the frequency of drops in the dispenser prescribed by the doctor.
After the procedure, the needle is removed, the tourniquet is removed, and the skin of the elbow is treated with an antiseptic.
The patient is advised to lie down for a while to avoid dizziness due to a sudden change in body position.
